LGBQ+ students have the option to live in an environment that is safe and affirming of their sexuality and/or use the Housing Portal to search for or be matched with roommates who share or affirm their sexuality.

LGBQ+ housing acknowledges the diverse needs of the student body and lives out the Gonzaga Jesuit mission of human dignity and Cura Personalis.  The LGBQ+ living experience helps further develop a residential climate that is positive, respectful, and inclusive for all residents. 

LGBQ+ housing provides a safe, affirming, and inclusive community living option for students of the following identities and lived experiences:

• Students who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or queer

• Students who identify across a diverse sexuality spectrum

• Students who are in the process of discovering their sexuality

Housing assignments for students are guided by the following values:

• Affirmation of the student's sexuality.

• Prioritized attention to the student's physical safety and emotional health.
